This site will be a testament to the theory that Google frowns on dashed or hyphenated domain names. Testament numero uno is the fact that before this phenomenon the site had a page rank of 3, now, 0. It’s not blacklisted or banned in Google, it simply lost it’s page rank and serp ranking’s overnight. The site has 432 links pointed to it from across the internet with amazing anchor text from pages with decent Google PR. That all being said we should be ranking, but it’s not so let’s see what we can do.
Change The Sites Focus
When we first came into this site it was focusing on couple of of different Keywords/Keyphrases, neither of which was very relevant to the domain name. Let’s change the focus of this site by incorporating the domain name and a few of the key phrases that it shows up for in search engines other than Google. I bet if we try hard enough we’ll be able to get better results in the “other” search engines as well.
So with a little log file analysis and killer keyword discovery methods, we have come up with the phrases we want to come up for.
